Nutrition Workshops and Classes

Alberta Health Services offers free online nutrition workshops and classes led by dietitians. A dietitian is a health professional who can help you understand food and nutrition information.

You can search for a class by health topic, course name, or Alberta health zone. Topics include healthy eating, diabetes, heart health, kidney health, cancer, weight management, feeding children, and cooking. Many class listings also include handouts or activity sheets.

Choose a class to see how to register. Some classes are available across Alberta, while others are only offered in certain health zones. A small number of classes may require a referral from a healthcare provider. Check the class listing for its current requirements.
